About Our Certified Practitioner
Tampa Performance Alliance was founded to bring an assessment-first, hands-on approach to neuromuscular therapy and performance testing for active adults in Downtown Tampa and Channelside.
COMPANY HISTORY
Tampa Performance Alliance was started to give active adults in the Tampa area a place to get objective, sensor-based answers about how their bodies move, rather than relying on generic gym programming or guesswork. The practice filled a gap between traditional physical therapy, which ends once pain resolves, and general personal training, which rarely addresses underlying muscle inhibition or movement dysfunction. As word spread among gym members and post-rehab clients in Downtown Tampa and Channelside, the service area grew to cover the surrounding Tampa community.
FOUNDER STORY
John built Tampa Performance Alliance around a simple frustration he saw in clients who finished physical therapy but still felt something was off, with no clear next step to address it. As a MAT Certified Level II Mastery Full Body Practitioner and Certified Personal Trainer, he wanted a way to test what was actually happening in a client's muscles instead of guessing at exercises. That led him to build a practice around objective, sensor-based assessment paired with hands-on neuromuscular therapy, so every recommendation is grounded in real data specific to that person's body. His goal with every client is the same: find exactly what's limiting movement, address it directly, and help them get back to training and living without lingering restrictions.
"I don't want to guess at what's wrong with someone's body — I want to test it, see it, and fix it."
CREDENTIAL
John is a MAT Certified Level II Mastery Full Body Practitioner. This credential means he has completed advanced training in Muscle Activation Techniques assessment and treatment across the full body, qualifying him to test and address muscle inhibition at an advanced level.
John is also a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
